Kyonyuu Fantasy 4 takes place about 250 years before KF2, right after the last Crusade, in the Kingdom of Litovia on the territory of modern Hungary. The protagonist is an ordinary human and a former attendant pilgrim (crusader). Tired of battles, he entered a remote monastery. The story begins half a year after he became a monk.
